Everyone knows the classic tale of the 3 little pigs, but most people don't know about the 4th little pig...Willy! For some reason Willy was cut out of the story completely. Anyway, the Big Bad Wolf found out about Willy and decided to pay him a visit. Willy stopped by the STEM Lab and asked our 1st graders to help him engineer a house. We asked Willy what kind of materials he had. Willy squeaked, "I don't have bricks, straw or sticks....all I have is spaghetti and marshmallows, thats it!" And so...our 1st graders tackled the challenge of engineering a house from spaghetti and marshmallows. We tested our designs against the wind of the Big Bad Wolf (fan) and all of our houses stood strong! Check out our work below!
