Sphero Olympic Programming Games

The Somers Point STEM Lab is pleased to announce the 2016 Sphero Olympic Games! Students in grades 4 and 5 will compete in an array of computer programming competitions which include slalom skiing, golf, speed skating, and curling. All events utilize the Sphero 2.0 robotic ball and the SPRK Lightning Lab App available on IOS and Andriod devices. Students will learn how to write lines of code, manipulate variables, analyze data, and utilize an array of mathematics skills as they tackle each competition. Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to our winners. Check back with us over the next few weeks as we will post pictures and videos of the events as they take place!
