Use the design process to solve a problem
Objective
Design a LEGO creation using only one cup of LEGOs and a 20 minute time limit.
Vocabulary Review
Engineer: Someone who designs a solution to a problem
Problem: What we are trying to solve (keeping a boat afloat)
Solution: Our idea, our design, our answer to the problem (our boat)

What kind of LEGOs are in my cup?
Wheels?
Bricks?
LEGO guy/girl?
Platform?
Special Parts?
What could I build using the materials I have...
STEP 2: Plan
Sketch you our ideas and choose one to build. The video below might help...
STEP 3: BUILD
Build your design! You will have 10 to 20 minutes to build!
STEP 4: SHARE
Place your design in the collect bin and it will be put on display in the school! Make sure to put your name tag with it.
